How Adopt Me Trading Works
Trading in Adopt Me is a structured in-game system, not player-to-player mail. Understanding the flow protects you from rushed accepts and trust-trade scams.
Unlocking and starting trades
Players need a trade license (quest from NPC) before using the trade hub. Only items marked tradable appear in your inventory trade tab.
Both parties must accept twice — review the final screen carefully. Cancel if anything looks swapped last-second.
What you can trade
Pets (normal, neon, mega), vehicles, pet wear, strollers, and some toys. Food and gifts are often non-tradable. Event items may have trade locks when fresh.
