Our safety mission

Roblox Adopt Me trading involves real economic value in a player-driven market. Scammers exploit speed, social pressure, and incomplete value knowledge. We publish adopt me trading values to slow trades down — so players can verify fairness before accepting.

We are not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or Uplift Games. We cannot reverse in-game trades or ban scammers. We can teach recognition, document best practices, and run a site that does not bait users into risky behavior.

Account & session protection

Adopt Me Values does not require a Roblox login to browse values or use our calculator. We never ask for your password, 2FA codes, or session cookies.

Protect your Roblox account

• Enable two-step verification in Roblox Settings → Security.
• Use a unique password not shared with Discord, email, or other games.
• Log out on shared devices; do not stay signed in on school or library PCs.
• Review authorized apps and remove unknown OAuth connections.
• Parents: use Roblox parental controls and discuss trust trades openly.

If you believe your account was compromised, change your password immediately, revoke sessions, and contact Roblox Support. Report phishing sites that impersonate value guides.

Safe Adopt Me trading practices

All legitimate trades happen inside Adopt Me’s trade window with a double-confirmation step. Our trade safety hub and calculator support that workflow — they do not replace it.

Before you accept

• Run both sides through our value checker; fair trades usually sit within ~10% total value.
• Read the final trade screen item-by-item. Cancel if anything changed last second.
• Decline “trust trades,” “middleman on Discord,” or “you go first” arrangements.
• Screenshot high-tier trades (Shadow, Bat, mega neons) with usernames visible.
• Trade in busy public servers when possible — witnesses deter bait-and-switch.

Anti-scam education

Scam patterns recycle with new names. Current high-risk tactics include:

• Trust trades — “give me your pet first, I’ll give legendaries after.”
• Fake doubling — claims of duplicate glitches or admin powers.
• Impersonation — Discord users posing as YouTubers or our staff.
• Phishing — “free Robux” or “claim your banned items” login pages.
• Trade window swap — distracting chat while swapping a high pet for a low one.

Phishing prevention

Phishing targets Roblox session tokens, not our site directly. Warning signs: urgent language, shortened URLs, Discord DMs with “verification” links, sites that mirror Roblox login exactly.

Do not download “trade confirmers,” “value sync tools,” or “auto-accept” extensions. They are common malware and credential stealers.

Platform integrity & moderation

Our editorial team publishes values and guides under clear Terms. User-submitted trade ads (where available) may be reviewed for obvious scam language; we reserve the right to remove listings that promote off-platform deals or credential harvesting.

Fraud detection & monitoring

We monitor anomalous traffic patterns (scraping, credential stuffing against nonexistent login forms) and block abusive IPs at the CDN/host level. Suspicious referrers and clone sites are documented for takedown where applicable.

Data protection

We minimize data collection. Analytics may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We do not sell personal information.

Contact forms (if used) transmit only what you submit. Retention is limited to support and legal needs. See Privacy for full detail.

Infrastructure & uptime reliability

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, security headers (CSP, X-Frame-Options, nosniff), and compressed static assets. We target high availability for value lookups during peak trading hours (evenings and weekends UTC).

Planned maintenance is rare and announced on our contact channels when possible. Extended outages are investigated and post-reviewed internally.

Responsible disclosure

Security researchers may report vulnerabilities affecting adopt-me-values.com to our contact page. Please include reproduction steps and impact. We ask for reasonable time to remediate before public disclosure. We do not pursue legal action against good-faith research.

Out of scope: social engineering of users, Roblox platform bugs (report to Roblox), denial-of-service tests without prior written approval.
