Fair Trades in Adopt Me Explained

Fair adopt me trades balance total value on both sides. “Fair” does not always mean identical pets — combos, demand, and upgrade potential matter.

The fair trade band

Most calculators label within ~10% as fair. A 100-value pet for 92–110 total is neutral. Outside that, you are winning or losing on paper.

Low-tier trades can look unfair in value but still feel fair to kids trading aesthetics — our tools focus on market fairness, not personal taste.

When slight overpays are normal

Completing a neon: traders pay premium for the last pet. Downgrading: high-tier pet for multiple mids adds liquidity premium. Time pressure: quick accepts cost 5–15%.

Red flags that are never “fair”

Trust trades, off-platform promises, “show me in DM” switches, or doubled items. See our scam prevention article and security center.
